Are you profitable?
And who are you profitable to?
God said that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine.
Then later Paul said that Mark was profitable unto him.
2 Timothy 4:11 KJV
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
If you have been studying the Word,
Applying it to your life
Preparing for the time when you will need it to help others in need.
There are challenges along the way.
First with yourself, there is a battle within.
But as you continue to study and apply the word as instruction for your life, you will be prepared in knowing along with the help of the Holy one to guide.
Second as you lend your ears to hear others to offer sound wisdom, you will be ready to use the Word as needed.
Third you will face opposition in your walk with others and those around you.
As you take the word out in the fields (world), you will face heavy challenges.
Ephesians 6:10 NIV
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Never go out there with your own strength and power.
The fight is hard enough without you entering in the picture.
Facing the world with the Word will hurt many people.
It will cut many of them very deeply to their very essence of who and what they thought they were along with what they thought life was.
They will try everything to rebuke your words.
They will find anything they have to try and get back at you.
If they have a very strong resolve in staying where they are, they will be your greatest opposition.
Their flesh wants to remain in this life style.
Truth does hurt and it cuts like a knife.
Hebrews 4:12 NLT
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
The Word will profit you.
Be kind and peaceful as you are faced with strong oppositions.
It will be OK to walk away for now in some cases.
Others cases you will stand there and wait for the break through.
The Spirit will help direct you when to stay and when to walk away.
There are times when you just are planting seed and others will come to water that seed.
You must remain profitable unto your leaders and unto God.
The name that you carry represents the Kingdom of God.
As you remain profitable
Heaven will increase.
Also remember to increase in knowledge and wisdom by applying the Word to all life’s situations.
Joshua 1:8 NIV
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
God sent the Holy one to stand with you.
He is there for your sake and the Words sake.
You are profitable.
