James 2:26 KJB
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
No works no faith
Can a man expect an harvest if he has not planted any seed?
If you don’t move
You won’t go anywhere.
If you don’t reach
You can’t touch
If you don’t knock
The potential for the door to be open won’t happen.
If you don’t practice putting yourself in position to receive,
You will not receive.
James 2:17 NLT
So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
The building of your faith comes from what actions you’re taking.
Just because you believe in it doesn’t make it happen automatically.
Believe only opens the door to faith.
You must walk through the door in order to receive from what’s on the other side.
So, if I do nothing, I will not grow my faith for anything.
I will have the knowledge of faith, but won’t have any particle experiences from what I have knowledge of.
Faith in healing comes from me believing and acting on the word that Jesus healed me.
Luke 17:19 NIV
Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
Faith in receiving wealth comes from me taken God at his word.
Joshua 1:8 NLT
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just.
Yes, you must receive the word of faith by hearing and hearing and hearing.
But, it’s only the key to receiving what faith wants to get to you.
Mark 11:22-23 ESV
And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.
Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
So the question remains.
Do you have faith in God and that he is a rewarder of them that gently seek him?
If you believe this,
Then show me your faith, by showing me your works.
Luke 17:6 NLT
The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you!
Faith without works is dead faith.
