Live not to disappoint
Is a mindset of a way of thinking and acting?
When we make mistakes
We are disappointed with the choices that we made.
Not that we set out to do it physically but unknowing mentally.
We had already set up ourselves to fell.
Philippians 4:8 AMP
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
Not that you plan to fell, but how did you do it?
By thinking of the mistake and giving it place in your mind and the more time you spent with a thought, the more your mind then start to seek out how it can fulfill it.
This is also the difference between success and feller.
If something that you are thinking about will cause you or someone to feel disappointment, then stop it.
Plain and simple that’s the way it is with God just like that.
God says stop it.
We say it’s hard.
God says it’s not.
I made you.
Who knows you better than I?
Take my Word for it.
You must not focus on living your life thinking about disappointments.
Past disappointments do hinder your efforts.
Thinking about them a lot will slow you down or stop your forward progress.
The word disappoint dose what it was meant from its creation.
So, you can see there are two things you must do.
Learn to recognize disappoints when they come
This will prepare you to head them off
And soon they will not come back.
Then do not dwell on past disappoints.
These are poison to the mind and spirit.
Like a virus it will get in to destroy the host.
Live not to disappoint
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
This mind set will lead to a lot of victories and successes.
If you are caught up in disappointments, do not weary,
God is not disappointed with you.
He can see the victory waiting on the other side.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
You must continue to think upon the future that God has already set in place for you.
Disappointments can increase your knowledge and make you wise or they can hinder you from living a life worthy of a child of God.
When you live your life not to disappoint, you too will see what’s on the other side.
No disappointments can stop you for moving forward towards your destiny.
No fellers in life will take from that which will be return to you one hundred times and more.
