Living in the Promise

2 Corinthians 1:20 NASB

For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

Before you can live in the promise you must believe that it can be yours.

The mind cannot perceive the things that which God has promised.

The mind is part of the human flesh.

All it knows is what it can perceive by the senses.

God is speaking things that we must receive by faith.

It’s the spiritual sense that captures what has been promised to us as soon as God has said it.

Even when Abraham was told of the promise of a son, he could not receive it, but he by faith received it.

Romans 4:19-20 NASB

Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

When the mind and body cannot receive those things Gods has promised us, you must program and train the mind to believe.

Training your mind daily with the Word of the promises

Romans 12:2 NLT

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Telling yourself you can do something, when you have doubts about it.

Cast down wrong thoughts and wrong behaviors.

Acting out the promise will help your thoughts to believe that its attainable.

And these are some that I have used to work for me.

Going on the weekends to walk through large luxury homes

Dressing up like you are in the promise

Going out sometimes to gourmet restaurants

Going to Plays and Musicals at a Theater

Getting brochures of places you would like to visit and using your imagination and see yourself there before you can go there.

Find things that wealthy people like to go and go there to.

You will find out that something’s are free to attend or some require small fees.

Save up to go to some places where the wealthy hang out.

You don’t have to spend all your money visiting these places.

Plan and save

Why hang around wealthy people?

I’m sure you know why, but I’ll tell you any way.

You are training your mind and body to receive wealth.

The human body changes and performs the way you want it to base upon the conditions you put it under.

You herd of fake it until you make it.

This is the same principal put in actual practice.

You could say practice it until you make it.

Your body and mind will do what you tell it to do.

It will go where you tell it to go.

It will be whatever you want it to be.

Here is an example.

There was study done where they took several children who were in foster care with low grades and acting out in school from what we called a troubled neighborhood.

They place them in a neighborhood with some upper middle class families.

The children after a period of time became straight “A” students and that bad behavior went away.

So, you see the body and mind can be trained to be what we want it to be.

So hanging out with wealthy people you will want and start thinking like a wealthy person.

And then soon you will start attracting wealth to come unto you.

You will not want it enough until you start seeing it in reality.

God has given you the promise, but you have to receive it.

Galatians 3:29 NLT

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

It’s not just saying you receive it.

You must start acting like you receive it.

Your thoughts

Your conversations

The way you act

The way you walk

Who you hang out with

Your friends

Your life style

Then patiently wait on it.

All the while you are preparing for the promise.

Deuteronomy 8:19 ESV

You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Be prepared for wealth to enter your life.

This is all done by

Living in the promise.
