2 Thessalonians 3:5 BEB
And may your hearts be guided by the Lord in the love of God and quiet waiting for Christ.
We are guided in life by many things.
Guided by thoughts of success, riches, and love
Unfortunately, we are sometimes guided by whatever life brings.
Love can also guide you into the wrong things or it can guide you into something beautiful.
How do you know the love you are receiving is leading you in the right directions?
Do I believe in love?
First, you have to answer the question, is it right in your heart, mind and soul.
Secondly, does it satisfy my need?
Do I feel comfortable?
Do I trust it?
Do I feel it will hurt me?
Can I see a future with this love I’m receiving?
Is it just physical or is it in my heart’s mind also?
Am I happy with this love?
Does this Love answers the questions about who I am and why I am here?
Last, can I be guided by this love to lead me in the direction where my life is going?
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
We think of love mostly in a way of just caring about someone, we don’t think a lot about what love does.
Love can guide you to all understanding.
Philippians 4:7 KJV
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
You see once you start receiving love, you will start to notice that love is taking you somewhere.
It starts preparing a place for your life to go.
Love has to add to your life and not take away.
If you believe in it, then let love guide you.
