Proverbs 3:3-4 NLT

Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart. 4 Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will gain a good reputation.

Here are a few questions to ask you’re self about being loyal.

What does being loyal mean to you?

Is it being faithful to someone or something?

Do you say, no matter what comes my way, I will stay true to God no matter what happens in life.

Do you say; nothing will make me change my mind about God?

I will stay loyal to my family and friends no matter what.

In that case, you must be ready in season and out of season, to be ready for things that will try your loyalty, just as life tries your faith.

People will try you in the area of loyalty to see if you are true to your word.

What can change your mind?

Can you be persuaded by things or by peer pressure?

By being with the popular people or crowds?

What can change your good way of thinking to a way that is distrusting?

Are you someone that takes information about a friend and use it to make yourself look good among the popular crowd?

Can God trust you?

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Do you care about the people you call your friends and family?

Can your friends and family trust you?

Do you say trust me and then turn around and brake that trust the moment they turn their backs?

Being loyal has good benefits.

With people and friends you know that they have your back and you have theirs.

They will be there when you need them.

Being loyal with God means that he can use you to speak to people and people will open up to you so their healing will began.

He can send you to places that most people cannot go.

Loyalty has its benefits and will be rewarded.

1 Samuel 26:23 NLT

The LORD gives his own reward for doing good and for being loyal, and I refused to kill you even when the LORD placed you in my power, for you are the LORD’s anointed one.

Doors will be opened to you, where they are closed to others.

Positions on jobs, in school, on teams, favor with people in high positions will bring you higher up in life.

Their memory of you should be always of a good report.

Is being loyal good in God’s eyes?

Loyalty is right standing in God’s eyes.

Which means, righteousness?
