How do we reflect what is on the inside of us?
1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
The outside doesn’t reflect our true nature.
Our true nature is different than which is on the outside.
The real you, is on the inside of you.
We look at ourselves as two people.
The real you is first a spirit that lives inside your body.
Being a three part being; Spirit, Soul and Body.
Just like the trinity of God
If you reflected the real you living on the inside, you would live a life of true victory.
Your spirit comes from God. Your body is a reflection of this world.
The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.
The world doesn’t know God, and it rejects everything that God wants and stands for.
Your flesh rejects your spiritual thoughts and the way of doing things.
Your spirit is perfect.
If you want perfection, you must let your spirit guide you.
If you do that, the real battle will begin.
A reflection of your spirit is a battle that will go on all your life.
The true nature of who you are will be rejected by your flesh.
You must continue to fight the good fight of faith, which is in Christ Jesus.
The more we start to reflect what’s on the inside, the more we will reflect what God wants from our life.
We must decrease in what our bodies want and increase what our spirit wants.
John 3:30 KJB
He must increase, but I must decrease.
Increase in the spirit gives us victory over life’s issues.
We must give up selfish desires and gains.
We release any notions of being what our flesh would lead us to be.
Transforming life is your reflection of the spirit showing on the outside.
Romans 12:2 ESV
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
If we continue to reflect what’s on the outside, we will continue to hold on to issues and issues will continue to rule over our lives.
Do you want to stay where you are and what you are on the outside or do you let the real person on the inside come out and live the life that God wants for your life?
Reflections are the images of what is seen.
What do you see that you are?
Who others see that you are?
What does God see that you are?
Which reflection do you want to see?
It’s time to show the reflection of the real you that lives on the inside.
