What is a Man of God?

This day and time we have very little or few real men of God.

What’s a man of God?

Yes, Real men do pray, but not only do they pray, they are spiritual leaders of their homes.

God said that a man steps have been ordered or set forth by him.

They take their direction according to what God says.

Real men are leaders who care about others and take care of their homes.

They are defenders of their families.

They feel the need to protect what’s theirs.

They humble themselves down to the point where they help others in need, putting others needs before their own.

Most of the time to humble oneself is a trial and test of a good man.

Good men are faced in this world by many challenges in life.

Life will always come and if they are strong enough they will always take what life brings and win.

He wins when he takes control of his flesh.

1 Corinthians 9:27 ESV

But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

Success and winning go hand and hand with a man of God.

Men have built inside them a need to succeed, not only in life, but with their families too.

They take good care of his family’s needs, its a part that makes him a man.

Good men do this very well.

They put their family needs before his needs.

He is disciplined and fair.

Love without disciplined is not love.

Ephesians 5:25 NLT

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her

He loves his wife with all that he has and gives to her all that makes him strong.

He is there to show love, compassion, joy and peace.

He will hold back or not do something that he wants in order to make her happy.

Her being happy is critical to his happiness.

The word also says husbands to “know your wife”.

Well in knowing her you will find out things about her, so that on a day to day basis you will make the right decisions concerning her needs, Wants and desires.

A Godly man of his house is the same as the priest of God’s house.

They are the spiritual leaders.

They set the standard and course where their family is heading spiritually.

I know there are many young men that have grown up without a father in the home.

Myself included.

My knowledge early in life lacked this trait, but later in life with a mothers help when I was young she pointed me in the right direction.

The word says; train up a child in the way they shall go and when they are old they will not depart.

Many will stray from the path, but sooner or later they will remember and become whom they supposed to be.

God is always working to get men on the right track.

I was pointed to the real father, God.

He has never let me down.

His Word in my heart and me walking by faith gives me the things I need to become a man of God.

Men can be Men of God

Acts 13.22 NIV

After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’

Many just don’t know it yet.

Men disciplining other men to be men of faith and integrity.

Developing them to be leaders of their community and homes.

Showing them how by the Word and example to be lovers of one wife.

Teaching them to be students of the faith ready for the next generation.

Displaying to their daughters what real men of looks like so that her choice will be only of a young man who honors God with his life.

Making mention to them things which might be if they continue down the wrong path in life.

Showing the how to stand up for truth while seeking justice by faith.

Men of faith

Men of God

True biblical manhood always stand out because the world way is clearly seen.

The world has no knowledge of God’s way of a man.

Show yourself to the world what a man of God looks.

Stand up

and

Stand out.
