Beauty in the eyes of the beholder

Things to think about

Ever since you were born there you were given images

Through TV you saw images that the world sad were beautiful or ugly.

Your parents hopefully told you enough times that you were beautiful.

Then you saw magazines that said these are the beautiful ones.

Behold them for this is what the world says is beautiful.

Who made them the bearer of this revelation?

Who choose them and gave them the power to tell us what is beautiful or not?

Is not what they perceive as beautiful and yet we believe them.

They sold us on their ideal of what is beautiful or not.

It only took one person to say this and another to buy into and then with very good marketing we were made to believe in what they were selling us.

With TV and magazines from day one this became the gospel according to someone dreams and imagination.

Like lambs going to a slater house we followed the crowd of the messes

Not being our own individual selves able to make our own determination on what beautiful or not.

We follow the way of the world

What everyone else is doing we will do because it’s popular.

Not seeing that we are doing things according to someone else and not our selves.

We are not recognized because we look just like someone else’s dream and vision.

So, why didn’t God just made robots?

You dress the way whatever new fad comes along like it’s so awesome

Says who?

You didn’t come up with it

Says who?

Well, it wasn’t you.

If God the creator made everyone and individuals not unlike the other, to operate, do things not like the other, then why do we follow and do what the world says to do?

He created everyone with a mind of their own.

Each with a purpose, a plan and a destiny of their own

We are capable to make the decision and determination of what is beautiful without someone showing us what is true beautiful.

Thus leads us to another point.

Religions taken from the truth is just false religions.

So many religions started and became huge because of us following the messes and doing what they say to do instead of finding the truth and digging deep to say that its wrong.

Many religions are because of one man’s interpretation from the truth

Another from fear of the truth

Fear of the creator Himself

Another because of control

Another with inert ability to convince people to follow his way

Another because of our need to worship something

How easy are we to go the way of the world without finding out for ourselves what is real truth of not.

We let someone do the work for us and then we say it must be the truth, because look at so many people are doing the same thing.

This only leads us further from the truth, because of our lack of ability to do our own research and a lack of faith.

Following the most popular crowd

It all depends on your need

What is missing from your life?

Our hurt and pain

What about also there is something inside of us that would lead us down that road base upon what we are attracted to and what our desires are.

But one thing is clear that we are chasing after answers only our creator can answer.

God’s tells us how to be individuals.

Romans 12:2 NIV

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

NLT

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

ISV

Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English

And do not imitate this world, but be transformed by the renovation of your minds, and you shall distinguish what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God.

ERV

And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

As you can see God doesn’t want us to be as the world, but be as he created us to be.

You have to look deep inside you and be that person whatever you find.

But, I caution you to follow the Word as you look deep inside knowing there is an evil lurking to make you like its self.

1 Corinthians 3:19 NLV

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.”

How foolish are we to follow after to imitate something that we are not.

What does loving this world lead us to do?

1 John 2:15 NIV

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

John 15:19 ESV

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

The world hates your indifference to them.

They want you to buy into want its selling you.

They want you to conform to whatever they tell you

If not they will hate you.

The beauty of this world is not seen by the eyes of God.

In order to see what and who is beautiful you need to see them with the eyes of God.

If beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, then whose eyes are you seeing with?

Whatever God has created is beautiful with all its shapes, size and character flaws.

They are there for a reason.

He the creator wants it there for a reason and purpose.

And yes what the devil has changed and distorted, God will take what the devil meant for evil and use for his good.

Be yourself and change your world

Don’t let this world tell you who are beautiful are not.

Take a look around you and the beautiful things God has created for you to enjoy.

Let this world know who you really are.

Take a stance against conformity.

Be who God sees you are.

Beautiful just the way He designed you to be.

The end
