Here I want to talk about four areas or types, if you will, of memories.
First persistence memory
We know that memory is information that is stored in your mind for some future use to be recalled at any time.
Well being persistence is where you are constantly pulling certain memories out to be used to a particle time and space.
The example in the Word would be Colossians 4:2
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
And 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.
Be always aware, because your enemy is watching.
Remember those things which will keep you protected against the enemy.
Keep them before you at all times.
Second resistance memory
We know that resistance when comes to weight lifting builds muscles.
Resistance training is where you apply weight or pressure to oppose where you what to go and when you stop putting on resistance, that’s when you try to go that same direction, it is much easier than before.
The bible tells us in James 4:7 to submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Resist his coming on to you.
Ladies you can us this same technique on men.
He will go away
Hopefully he want come back, but even the devil is persistent.
Third is muscle memory
We all know this is where the mind and body remembers a certain routine or pattern over and over again.
Used in golf and other sports.
You want to use this memory also to your advantage.
Remembering the position you were in when you fell.
It will help you to never go back to that same position again.
Or it will help to stay in line with the Word in every area of your body.
Fourthly is automatic memory
Which, is a part of all three memories above
Setting your self on auto polite is your will
In order to remember everything that God has taught you so that you can stay alert and on top at all times.
Remember your enemy is always remembering you.
If you are doing the will of God
Then he wants you to stop.
You affect his business of keeping you back from and destroying lives.
Don’t let him destroy anything in your life by letting him into an area of your life that is unprotected.
Be persistent to be resistant in the area of your muscle memory where you have not put on automatic over drive.
Putting on your awareness memory could be the key to you winning battles already won by Jesus on your behalf.
