When Faced with your Destiny and your Past

Your past doesn’t have to determine your destiny.

With your destiny you don’t consider your past at all.

 Mistakes you made

 Bad decision you made

 Chasing after your own plans

Taking the wrong path in life

 Failures

All these and more don’t stop God’s destiny for your life.

Of course, as you set your feet to chase your true destiny, the enemy and you will think about your past mistakes.

You have to remind yourself of the vision God gave you and focus on that alone.

 Joseph did.

What got him thru while he was in prison?

Knowing that his God had before in the field tending the sheep God gave him a vision of his future

His destiny and God being with kept him focus.

What you did in the past want give you a different destiny.

 Predestination

You where were born with one and it doesn’t matter when or where you start chasing your destiny it is and will always remain the same.

God knew where you would go and He knew when you would start.

Your past if anything could have helped get you to the place where you are ready to start chasing your destiny.

So in your thru your bad decisions you ended up in a place where God could place your feet on the right road.

Have you heard it said; that your past performances are not indicative of your future.

 True statement

Your future is not determined by where you game from, whom where you’re parents, or what issues in life that may have cause you to be looked at by others as a bad person.

When faced with your destiny and your past

Choose only to see your destiny

 Philippians 3:13-14 NASB

Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Forgetting the past does determine how you get there.

Focusing on past mistakes could and will slow you down.

They will cause you to be distracted or doubt.

 They could weaken your foundation.

Because when the storms come your eyes will look at the storms instead of focusing on the vision God gave you to see.

Seeing it instead of seeing your past determines how fast you get there.

Spending a lot of time dwelling on past things will get you no where.

The fast track to your destiny depends on you forgetting where you’ve been.

Keep your eyes on where you’re going.

Have you asked God to forgive your past?

 Do you believe he has?

It’s the key to be set free and moving forward without hast.

 1 Peter 4:10 NLT

God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

So many things are counting on you getting to the place where you need to be in order to open doors to your future and others.

So don’t waste anymore of your time dwelling of past issues.

You don’t have time to waste.

Time can be your best friend or it can be your enemy.

 Don’t test it.

When faced with your past say; past you’re behind me I’m moving forward.

When faced with your destiny say; hello destiny I’m ready here I come.
